Romano-Ward disorder is an inherited heart (cardiac) condition identified by irregularities affecting the electrical system of the heart. The extent of Romano-Ward syndrome varies greatly from instance to case. Some people may have no obvious signs (asymptomatic); others might create uncommonly boosted heartbeats (tachyarrhythmias) causing episodes of unfamiliarity (syncope), cardiac arrest, and potentially premature death. Romano-Ward syndrome is acquired as an autosomal dominant attribute.
